For those of you who haven't done them before this is a race against the clock and your own previous best time. Each rider sets off on his or her own and rides as fast as they can over a distance of 2, 6 or 10 miles - you choose. Click here to read Salt Ayre Time Trial Notes where you will find some information about the rides - it is VERY IMPORTANT that you read all of the information as this tells you how to register and what is expected.
It is a great way to gauge your fitness and a way of competing without the hurly-burly of a bunch race. Please note, however, that all youth riders MUST have a signed CTT Parental Consent form before being allowed to ride.
We are very lucky to have them on the closed circuit at Salt Ayre and to have such fantastic organization so that they run smoothly. But all of the people that help put these events on are volunteers. Without volunteers nothing happens.
If you are an adult and fancy having a go I am sure that Lancaster CC would welcome your membership. Download a Lancaster CC - Membership form - for Adults here
These Thursday evenings are great fun and worth a try. But whether you are participating or supporting please volunteer some time to help out too.
Every Thursday night from 4th April until 29th August 2013, incl.
Entry is £1.00 for juniors and £3.50 for adults.
